Description

A 1" positive displacement water meter. Measures consumption by counting the passage of fixed volumes, which is what makes it accurate at the low flows domestic service spends most of its time at. A water meter is sized to the service line and the expected flow, and installed with a strainer and isolation valves on both sides so it can be serviced without shutting off the street.
