The 3/8" galvanized malleable iron cap: threads onto a pipe end to seal it off. Hot-dip galvanized malleable iron to ASTM A197 with a zinc coating per ASTM A153, dimensions per ANSI/ASME B16.3, threads per ANSI/ASME B1.20.1 — Class 150, rated 150 PSI. The zinc coating suits it to water service and damp or exposed locations where black iron would rust. Import.
