Description
An Ames 4" reduced-pressure zone backflow preventer with OS&Y shutoff, model M400. A backflow preventer protects the potable supply from reverse flow; it is installed where it can be tested and serviced, with clearance around the test cocks and, on a reduced-pressure model, a drain for the relief port.
