4" service weight cast iron soil pipe, 30 in length. Hub-and-spigot pipe to ASTM A74 for gravity drain, waste, vent and storm service. Cast iron is chosen where noise matters — it deadens the sound of water falling through a stack in a way plastic does not — and for its fire performance in multi-storey work. Gravity service only, not a pressure pipe. Domestic (US-made) casting.
