Description

An expansion tank. Model ST-12-C-DD-ASME. Rated 150 PSI. Takes up the volume change as the system water heats, so pressure does not climb until the relief valve lifts. Confirm the model suits the service before fitting — potable and hydronic expansion tanks are built differently and are not interchangeable. Set the tank pre-charge to match system fill pressure — a tank charged wrong is a tank doing nothing.
